Introduction

I’m Alexis M. Westbrook, PsyD, a licensed clinical psychologist and founder of BrownSkinPsych®. I welcome adults of all backgrounds from central Chicago, Orland Park, and the surrounding south suburbs, with online therapy throughout Illinois. I provide culturally responsive, evidence-based psychotherapy for anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, burnout, relationship concerns, identity, and major life transitions, including the demands of work and caregiving. My approach is collaborative, direct, and deeply human, with attention to each person’s culture, context, strengths, and lived experience. In addition to individual therapy, I provide psychological evaluations and professional consultation.
