Introduction

My journey into therapy was inspired by my own experience with a lack of cultural competence in mental health care. I strive to create a safe space where individuals, especially those from minority communities, feel understood and supported as they navigate life’s challenges. I feel deeply called to help others work through difficult transitions, mental health concerns, and personal growth. I am a compassionate and client-centered therapist who specializes in CBT, DBT and Trauma-informed Therapy. I believe that healing happens through safety, trust, and genuine connection. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, mood disorders, family issues, couples, trauma, life transitions, and challenges related to substance use and emotional regulation. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, empowered, and respected. Together, we work to build insight, strengthen coping skills, and foster meaningful, sustainable change. I believe therapy is not about fixing you, but about helping you reconnect with your strengths and move forward with intention and clarity. I remain flexible to meet each client’s unique needs.
