I believe psychotherapy offers a unique opportunity to be deeply known and understood. By talking with a compassionate and fully engaged therapist about our lives, we develop insights that can be difficult to reach on our own. I work with individuals seeking help with anxiety and depression in the face of various challenges, including grief, traumatic experiences, career change, family and relationship conflict, low confidence, illness, and questions about identity. I graduated cum laude from Harvard College, studied acting in the UK, and received an MSW from New York University. Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked for years as both a teacher and tutor in elementary through college settings, and am particularly familiar with the pressures faced by students and families in a city as intense as New York.
