Introduction

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable, and deeply caring, yet find themselves feeling chronically overwhelmed, stuck, or silently carrying more than those around them realize. They may have spent years pushing through, taking care of others, staying productive, or trying to get everything "right." Over time, those ways of coping become exhausting, leaving them feeling anxious, disconnected, self-critical, or unsure of who they are underneath it all. If any of that feels familiar to you, you're not alone. Welcome, I'm Alexis, a therapist in Seattle offering in-person psychotherapy in Queen Anne, and virtual therapy throughout Washington State. I work with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, chronic stress, trauma, ADHD, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and the lasting impact of difficult life experiences. In therapy with me, you'll have space to pause, slow down and make sense of the patterns, emotions, and experiences that have shaped you and may be keeping you from living the life you want. My role isn't to analyze you from a distance or hand you a list of strategies. Instead, I work alongside you with warmth, honesty, and curiosity to help you better understand what's happening beneath the surface. My approach is depth-oriented and relational, meaning we'll move beyond symptom management and surface-level problem solving to better understand the underlying patterns, relationships, and experiences that continue to shape your life. Drawing from psychodynamic, humanistic, existential, somatic, and EMDR therapy, I tailor therapy to your unique needs and experiences. Over time, this work can help you reconnect with yourself, build greater self-trust, and move through life with more clarity, authenticity, and confidence.
