Alexis Surratt is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and the founder of Mindful Journey Network, PLLC. Alexis has experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through life’s challenges. She specializes in working with individuals navigating anxiety, ADHD, anger management, behavioral concerns, depression, life transitions, low self-esteem, and substance abuse concerns. She takes an eclectic approach by utilizing an array of evidence-based practices, helping each client recognize their strengths and build resilience. She is passionate about creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore their experiences, practice mindfulness, and take meaningful steps toward growth. Alexis graduated from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Child and Family Development. She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Montreat College. Through continued learning, she has become a Certified Mindfulness Informed Professional (CMIP) and Certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT). Through Mindful Journey Network, Alexis provides virtual therapy sessions to make mental health support more accessible and convenient for those she serves. Her mission is to guide clients on their path toward healing, balance, mindfulness, and self-discovery.
