Introduction

Reaching out for therapy isn't always easy, and you don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel understood, respected, and comfortable being yourself. I take a collaborative and compassionate approach, working with you to understand what’s bringing you to therapy, explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and consider the experiences and strengths that have shaped who you are. Together, we’ll find an approach that fits your needs, goals, and readiness rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all formula. I earned my Master of Science in Counseling with an emphasis in Mental Health from Drake University. My clinical experience includes residential treatment with adolescents and outpatient therapy with teens, college and graduate students, young adults, and adults. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, life transitions, difficulty managing intense emotions or anger, alcohol and substance use concerns, and the pressures that can come with trying to hold everything together. My approach incorporates CBT, TF-CBT, and EMDR within a trauma-informed and strengths-based framework. Therapy looks different for everyone. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build resilience, and create a life that feels more balanced and authentic. I currently provide telehealth services to clients in California. I offer private-pay services and accept select insurance plans through Headway. You can view my Headway profile for current insurance options and availability.
