Hi, I’m Alicia Clark-Williams, MSW, LSW, a behavioral health therapist who believes healing begins with feeling safe, heard, and understood. I became a therapist because I have always been passionate about helping people navigate difficult seasons, recognize their strengths, and realize that their past experiences do not have to define their future. My approach to therapy is compassionate, supportive, and down-to-earth. I strive to create a space where you can show up as yourself without fear of judgment while we work together toward meaningful change. I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, emotional dysregulation, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, low self-esteem, and other emotional or behavioral concerns. I have a particular passion for trauma-informed care and helping individuals who have spent so much time surviving that they are ready to begin learning what it means to truly heal and live. My therapeutic approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and person-centered interventions tailored to each client's individual needs. Therapy with me is collaborative; we will identify what is most important to you, develop practical coping skills, explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and build on the strengths you already possess. Whether you are navigating past trauma, feeling overwhelmed by life, struggling in your relationships, or simply realizing that something needs to change, you do not have to figure it all out alone. My goal is to help you feel more confident, emotionally grounded, and empowered to create a healthier and more fulfilling life. Healing is more than surviving what happened to you. It's learning how to move forward, reconnect with yourself, and create the life you deserve. Together, we can work toward healing beyond survival.
