Introduction

Life doesn't always unfold the way we expect. Whether you're grieving a loss, navigating a major life transition, or feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, it can be difficult to know where to turn or how to move forward. You may feel stuck, exhausted, uncertain, or disconnected from the person you want to be. You don't have to face these challenges alone. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 20 years of experience, I help individuals gain clarity, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful change in their lives. Through education, support, and guided self-discovery, many of my clients experience those powerful "aha" moments that lead to greater self-awareness, healing, and lasting growth. Therapy isn't always easy work, but many clients tell me they wish they had started sooner. Together, we'll create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions, understand patterns that may be holding you back, and build the confidence to move forward with greater peace and purpose. Areas of Specialty: Grief and loss Anxiety and stress management Major life transitions and adjustment challenges Personal growth and self-discovery What You Can Expect: Our first session is an opportunity for me to learn about your unique story, the challenges you're facing, and the goals you hope to achieve through counseling. From the beginning, we'll work collaboratively to identify strengths, explore beliefs and patterns that influence your experiences, and develop practical strategies to help you navigate life's challenges. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness-based techniques. These evidence-based approaches can help you better understand your thoughts and emotions, strengthen coping skills, and cultivate resilience. I typically recommend weekly sessions at the start of therapy to establish momentum and provide consistent support. As you begin to make progress and feel more confident in using your new skills, we can transition to biweekly or monthly sessions based on your needs and goals. My ultimate goal is to help you develop the insight, tools, and confidence to navigate future challenges independently and create the life you want to live. About Me: I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Mississippi, where I've proudly called home since 2010. Originally from Louisiana, I am also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in that state. As a Board Certified Telemental Health Provider, I offer counseling exclusively through secure telehealth services, allowing clients to access support from the comfort and privacy of their own homes. Over the past two decades, I have had the privilege of helping young adults through older adults navigate life's most difficult seasons. I deeply respect the courage it takes to reach out for help and consider it an honor to walk alongside my clients as they work toward healing and growth. Fees and Insurance: I accept several insurance plans, including UnitedHealthcare (UHC), Aetna, Cigna, Medicare Part B, and TriCare as a preferred provider. Initial session: $175 Ongoing sessions: $150 I also offer a sliding fee scale for qualifying clients. For those with out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill for potential reimbursement. Ready to Take the Next Step? Finding the right therapist is important. I invite you to schedule a free 15–20 minute consultation so we can discuss your needs, answer your questions, and determine whether we're a good fit to work together. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey toward healing, growth, and greater peace of mind.
