I believe meaningful change happens through connection, safety, and feeling genuinely understood. My journey toward becoming a therapist began within my own family of origin, where I witnessed the impact that trauma and substance use can have on individuals, relationships, and entire family systems. These experiences inspired me to help others understand painful patterns, heal unresolved wounds, and create healthier ways of relating to themselves and the people they love. Professionally, I have supported individuals and families affected by substance use, domestic violence, generational poverty, intergenerational trauma, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. This work has deepened my understanding of how personal experiences, family patterns, and systemic barriers can shape mental health and a person’s sense of safety, identity, and possibility. I specialize in working with adults experiencing anxiety, ADHD and executive-functioning challenges, complex or relational trauma, chronic stress, self-doubt, and recurring relationship patterns. Many of my clients appear capable and successful on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or stuck. My approach integrates EMDR, Internal Family Systems–informed therapy, attachment-based treatment, somatic and nervous-system regulation, and practical coping skills. Together, we will explore the experiences and patterns contributing to your current struggles while developing greater emotional regulation, self-compassion, confidence, and healthier relationships. You do not have to navigate this alone. In connection, we thrive.
