As a licensed mental health counselor, I am passionate about empowering my clients to develop and live a life they desire. Often I will offer various proven coping skills and techniques that can support improving the quality of their lives in tangible ways. Providing a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic environment is of utmost importance within our counselor-client relationship, as I believe it allows for deeper understanding and healing to occur. I thoughtfully integrate both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into my treatment approach, carefully selecting and individualizing interventions for each client. CBT helps clients identify unhelpful thoughts and behaviors and make positive changes, while DBT provides life skills for regulating emotions. I view therapy as a collaborative journey between counselor and client with the goals of fostering insight, personal growth, and improving one's relationship with the mind-body connection.
