Hi, I’m Ali. I’m a therapist, artist, and fellow human who believes change often begins when we feel genuinely seen, understood, and a little less alone in what we’re carrying. I work with young adults and adults navigating the messy, in-between parts of being human—life transitions, relationships, identity, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, burnout, perfectionism, or simply the feeling that something isn’t working anymore. You don’t need to know exactly what you want to change to begin. My approach is collaborative, relational, and experiential. Some days we might sit and talk things through; other days we might map out a pattern, practice something you’ve been avoiding, get creative, incorporate movement or mindfulness, or take our work outside. Together, we’ll get curious about the patterns you’ve developed to survive, connect, achieve, belong, or protect yourself—and decide which still serve you and which you’re ready to change. As a social worker, I believe our struggles make more sense when we consider the relationships, experiences, identities, communities, and systems that have shaped us. My work is affirming, culturally responsive, and grounded in curiosity rather than judgment. Therapy doesn’t require perfect words or a perfectly defined goal. You can show up as you are. We’ll start there.
