Introduction

Hi, I’m Alison Fescenmeyer, M.Ed., LPC-S, EMDR Certified, a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor serving children, teens, and adults in Fort Worth, Texas. I am passionate about creating a supportive, welcoming space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to grow. I have extensive experience helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate anxiety, trauma, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem concerns, and parenting challenges. As an EMDR Certified therapist, I use trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs. I especially enjoy working with children, helping them build emotional regulation skills, confidence, healthy coping strategies, and resilience through developmentally appropriate interventions. I also support adults navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, and life’s transitions. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, compassionate, and practical—offering both support and tools for meaningful change. Whether you’re seeking counseling for yourself or your child, I would be honored to support you in that journey.
