I’m Allaire Ross, a licensed psychotherapist in private practice specializing in CBT for anxiety and depression. I work with adults and teenagers who feel stuck in cycles of worry, self-doubt, or emotional overwhelm and want practical tools to feel more grounded and confident. I also work with couples looking to enhance communication practices, deepen emotional connection, and better understand entrenched conflict cycles that inhibit closeness. Many of the clients I work with are capable and successful in their daily lives, yet feel anxious, exhausted, or stuck internally. I have particular experience supporting working professionals, college-aged young adults, and new mothers experiencing peripartum and postpartum anxiety or depression. In addition to cognitive behavioral therapy, I also draw on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness-based therapeutic interventions to develop a toolbox of tangible skills to navigate present and future obstacles.
