Introduction

Hi, I’m Allie. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of comprehensive experience working with individuals—including children, adolescents, and adults—as well as families and couples. Throughout my career, I have worked in a diverse range of settings, including private therapy practices, educational and social service non-profit organizations, mental health and substance abuse outpatient and PK-12 schools. I am dedicated to helping clients embrace their personal journey and discover their inner strengths in order to create their own unique versions of greener mountains. Drawing from a strengths-based and inclusive approach, I assist clients in facing challenges and improving their overall well-being by collaboratively addressing the distinctive and personal struggles and circumstances they encounter. Common areas of focus typically include stress management, anxiety, depression, behavior change, self-esteem enhancement, relational conflict resolution, grief and loss, substance use and emotion regulation. I utilize a broad array of theoretical frameworks and therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Strategic Family Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Psychodynamic approaches. I have lived in places across the US including the south, the west, the mid-west and the northeast, where I currently live in Vermont with my family. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, listening to and going to see live music, watching sports, and reading.
