Introduction

I'm Allie. A self proclaimed warm, non-judgmental, straightforward and authentic therapist. I'm passionate about helping people to build lives filled with meaning, fulfillment, and self-trust—rather than letting fear and doubt call the shots. If you’re feeling stuck, you might be listening to some (pretty convincing!) stories that fear is telling you, or maybe you've lost touch with your true self and what really matters to you, feeling disconnected from what brings color, depth, and meaning to life. My goal is to help you quiet those doubts and start trusting yourself to make choices that lead to a more meaningful, connected, and satisfying life. I work with adults, teens, and couples with a variety of mental health or life struggles including depression, anxiety, OCD, phobias, ADHD and neurodivergence, stress, relationship and intimacy issues, and grief. I use the following practical, evidence-based approaches: ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy): Helping you get clear on your values, be present, and accept what you can’t control. CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy): Exploring how your thoughts, feelings, and actions work together—and learning how to shift unhelpful patterns. DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy): Building skills to handle tough emotions, manage stress, and improve your relationships. I-CBT and ERP: Specific CBT techniques for OCD, designed to help you break free from obsessions and compulsions and challenge your fears. OCD Support I work with all kinds of OCD subtypes, offering both evaluation and treatment. Together, we’ll look behind the curtain of OCD and its endless tricks, so you can learn to challenge fear, build self-trust, and realize you’re stronger than you think. If you’re ready to start living a life that feels more like your own, I’m here to help. You can learn more about the effective and researched approaches to treating OCD that I utilize here: I-CBT (Inference-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) https://icbt.online/what-is-icbt/ ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) https://iocdf.org/ocd-treatment-guide/erp/ Couples Therapy I use elements of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and The Gottman Method and integrate both approaches to better assist couples in learning to navigate conflict, heal past wounds, deepen friendship, and increase intimacy. These approaches combine attachment-based ideas along with approachable and straightforward techniques couples can use immediately to improve their relationship. I am inclusive and supportive of relationships in many forms including: -Committed Partnerships -Long-Term Relationships -Marriage -Pre-marital and Pre-engagement -Polyamorous -Ethically Non-Monogamous It is important to me to be inclusive and affirming of diversity in gender, sexuality, race, body size, and ability. My personal values are to be an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community and to be anti-racist. Ready to talk? I offer free 15 minute consultations.
