Introduction

Allie's focus and approach to therapy with client is non-pathologizing and gentle, based in the belief that each person has a unique history and responses to their lived experience. Adlerian therapy contextualizes responses as adaptive, rather than malicious, and pairs well with Trauma-informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST). TIST is based on IFS methods and was developed by Dr. Janina Fisher, a prominent therapist in the field of trauma work. TIST implements the use of "parts work" and understanding the inner system of triggers that is highly individual and worth exploring with respect.
