I provide individual therapy for adolescents (12+) and adults using evidence-based approaches such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), interpersonal therapy, exposure with response prevention (ERP), and trauma-informed therapy. I specialize in treating anxiety and compulsive/addictive behaviors, and in helping patients navigate life transitions, stress, and relationship concerns. My practice is queer-affirming, sex-positive, and aligned with Health at Every Size principles. I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Georgia, and I am also licensed (via PSYPACT) to see patients virtually in over 40 other states and jurisdictions. My primary task as your psychologist is to foster a supportive, collaborative environment where we are able to identify and work towards meaningful goals. In my practice, I emphasize individual differences, cultural humility, and inclusiveness. I focus first on listening, and I acknowledge that you are the expert of your own life and experience. Together, we will collaborate to identify what is causing or perpetuating your distress and come up with strategies to improve your quality of life and help you thrive. I know how hard it can be to take that first step toward therapy. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of where to turn, you’re not alone. I’m here to listen without judgment and help you find clarity and relief. If you’re ready to begin, or just curious about how therapy might help, I invite you to reach out.
