Hello and welcome! I’m Allison Stersic, a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate and Certified Master Social Worker committed to helping individuals, couples, and families not just survive life’s challenges, but truly transform through them. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor’s in Social Work from the University of Nevada, Reno. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) through EMDRIA, an evidence-based approach that helps the brain and body process trauma at its roots. My approach is holistic, integrative, and personalized. I draw from EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and psychodynamic techniques. I believe our experiences, family histories, and generational patterns can shape how we relate to ourselves and others—but these patterns are not permanent. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-destructive patterns, trauma, or a major life transition, you don’t have to face it alone. I offer a compassionate, straightforward, and accountable partnership grounded in the belief that you are capable of change and deserving of happiness, success, and peace. Reaching out is the hardest step. Everything after that, we do together. Welcoming children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
