Introduction

Hi, I’m Allison Wallace, and I’m so glad you’re here. I believe healing happens through connection — with yourself, your child, and the people who matter most. My approach is relational, intentional, and collaborative, designed to meet each person exactly where they are and guide them toward meaningful growth. Every session is an opportunity to slow down, be present, and focus on what matters most. I am a Registered Play Therapist, and I work with children ages 3–10, helping them express feelings, navigate big life changes, and build emotional confidence through Child-Centered Play Therapy. Play is a child’s natural language, and it provides a safe, supportive way for them to process anxiety, trauma, behavioral challenges, or life transitions such as divorce, loss, or welcoming a new sibling. I partner closely with parents to strengthen connection, deepen understanding, and build calmer, more confident relationships at home. Together, we create an environment where your child feels seen, heard, and empowered. I am also trained in EMDR therapy and work with women navigating trauma, anxiety, and the emotional transitions of pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood. Using EMDR, along with ACT and CBT allows for both processing past experiences and building practical skills for coping and growth. Many women come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of themselves after years of caring for others. Through our work together, you can process past trauma, manage anxiety, and reconnect with your inner strength with compassion and intentionality. I see therapy as a collaborative journey. My style is warm, relational, and intentional, creating a space where children and adults alike can uncover resilience, explore emotions safely, and move toward meaningful change. Healing isn’t about fixing what’s “wrong.” It’s about reconnecting with the parts of yourself that have always been strong, capable, and ready to grow. If you’re ready to take that step — for yourself, your child, or your family — I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see how we might work together.
