Introduction

Welcome! I’m Allison Wallace, and I’m so glad you’re here. At Sager Creek Counseling Collective, I have the privilege of walking alongside children, adults, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions. My approach is rooted in warmth, understanding, and collaboration—I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe, heard, and empowered to grow. I specialize in supporting parents through pregnancy, postpartum, and the many joys and challenges of raising children, as well as helping children and their caregivers strengthen attachment and deepen their relationships. I also work closely with women in all stages of life—whether healing from trauma, managing stress or anxiety, moving through burnout, or rediscovering a sense of identity and self-worth. My goal is to help women feel grounded, supported, and confident as they move through change and reconnect with who they are. My approach to therapy is rooted in attachment-focused work and supported by evidence-based practices such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), child-centered play therapy, CBT, and ACT. I strive to create a warm, welcoming space where each person feels seen and understood, and where meaningful, lasting growth can take place. My work is shaped by both my professional training and life experience. As a parent, I understand the joys and challenges that come with raising children and the emotional shifts that can accompany pregnancy, postpartum, and major life transitions. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the many ways children and adults see and experience the world and have reinforced my belief that there is no single “right” approach to therapy. Every person’s story, needs, and strengths are unique, and therapy should honor that individuality. My training as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT), combined with my lived experience, allows me to connect with clients in a way that is both professional and deeply human. Whether you’re a parent seeking support, a woman walking through a season of change, or a child learning to express big emotions, I’m here to help you feel understood and supported. Together, we can build resilience, heal from past experiences, and move toward a more fulfilling, connected life. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
