Introduction

I am so happy you came across my website. My name is Allison Weaver and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT#150838). I have been working with children, teens, young adults, and families to achieve their mental health goals throughout my career– and I am happy to work with any age! I am currently pursuing my Registered Play Therapist credential and enjoy integrating play into my therapeutic work with children and teens. Additionally, I have completed all of my training competencies and am able to provide PC-Care services with children and their caregivers. My background includes supporting clients with depressive, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity, and trauma/stressor-related disorders, including grief and loss. I love my work as a marriage and family therapist, and I enjoy helping clients/families experience growth. I named my private practice “Weaving Hope Therapy” because life can have a number of hardships, and cultivating hope in the midst of it can give us what we need to get through it. My primary theoretical orientation is humanistic and person-centered theory– in essence, I believe my clients have everything they need within them to succeed– I’m just here to help! :)
