Hi, I’m Ally — and I’m really glad you’re here! In my work, I believe that "it's the connection that heals." Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but my goal is to help you feel safe, supported, and at ease as we work together. I invite clients to bring their full selves and all of their experiences and identities into the therapy space. We don't exist as islands or silos, but rather in the context of communities, society, and systems that impact us, too. As such, healing is not an individual process; it happens in partnership and community! As a trauma-informed therapist, I know that diving into past pain or trauma can stir up some big feelings — anxiety, fear, uncertainty — so we’ll take it at your pace. Along the way, I’ll support you in building coping tools and emotional regulation skills to help you navigate those tough moments. I am trauma-focused and also trained in CBT, DBT, and ACT. I always invite feedback and want you to feel empowered to share what’s working and what’s not.
