I believe therapy is one of the most meaningful tools we have for growth, healing, and real change—and yes, starting therapy can feel intimidating. Just being curious about therapy is enough. You don’t have to have it all figured out to take a first step. Therapy isn’t about being “fixed” or having all the answers. It’s about having a space where you can show up exactly as you are—messy thoughts, big feelings, unanswered questions and all—without pressure or judgment. Many of the people I work with come in feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of who they are or where they’re headed. Others know exactly what they want but feel blocked by fear, self-doubt, or old patterns that just won’t budge. My style is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine connection, not a one-sided conversation. We’ll laugh when it makes sense (because sometimes humor is a coping skill), sit with the hard stuff when needed, and work together to help you feel more confident, grounded, and capable in your life. Using a strengths-based approach, I help clients build practical tools to navigate stress, improve relationships, build confidence and create a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling. I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma and PTSD, addictions, and grief and loss. I also support clients working through self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, life transitions, personal growth, and goal-setting (the realistic kind, not the pressure-filled kind). My approach is holistic and evidence-based, and sessions may incorporate modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, mindfulness practices, and attention to the mind-body connection. I specialize in working with clients seeking an LGBTQ-affirming therapist and also love working with neurodivergent folks. I am committed to providing an inclusive, supportive, and respectful space for people of all identities. I offer therapy exclusively via secure Telehealth sessions throughout California. Online therapy can be especially helpful if you’re juggling work or school, commuting, travel, parenting, chronic health concerns—or if you just prefer therapy that doesn’t require sitting in traffic. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Vanguard University. My professional background includes work in a domestic violence shelter, a substance abuse treatment center, a community hospital, and palliative and hospice care. These experiences have shaped a compassionate, grounded approach to therapy and allow me to work comfortably with clients from many different backgrounds and life experiences. When I’m not working, I love hiking and camping. You’ll often find me on a trail with family, friends, and my two dogs—getting fresh air, perspective, and reminding myself to practice what I encourage clients to do: take breaks.
