You’re the person everyone depends on. The calm one. The capable one. The one who keeps pushing through. But underneath that, you may feel emotionally exhausted, disconnected, overwhelmed, or stuck carrying things you’ve never fully processed. I work with adults experiencing trauma, PTSD, grief, anxiety, burnout, and high levels of chronic stress. Many of the people I serve are first responders, healthcare professionals, and high-achieving adults who are used to functioning under pressure while silently struggling behind the scenes. As a trauma therapist in Southlake, I offer a space where you don’t have to stay in survival mode or keep everything held together. My background as a fire wife and my involvement in first responder mental health advocacy have given me a deep understanding of the emotional weight these roles can carry both on and off shift. My approach is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and straightforward. I use EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), CBT, and solution-focused therapy to help teens and adults process trauma, reduce anxiety, improve emotional regulation, and create meaningful change that lasts beyond the therapy room. Clients often describe my style as direct, collaborative, supportive, and real. I believe therapy should feel human, not clinical or performative. We’ll likely laugh sometimes, challenge patterns that aren’t working, and focus on understanding the “why” behind what you’re experiencing so healing actually makes sense. I’m an EMDR-trained therapist and Certified Grief Professional accepting new clients in Southlake, TX. If you’re looking for honest support, practical tools, and a place to finally exhale, I’d love to connect.
