Introduction

➡ You feel broken - like something is wrong with you and can't seem to ever feel better ➡ Your inner voice is harsh and critical, leaving you constantly doubting yourself ➡ Relationships feel heavy and draining, no matter how hard you try to work things out ➡ Everyone thinks you're doing great, but you feel like you’re barely holding it together, and keeping up the appearance of strength has left you drained and overwhelmed ➡ Every day feels like an uphill battle, and you wonder if change is even possible ➡ You want to finally feel some relief, but you don't know where to start Hi, I'm Alysha, and I can help. ******* Welcome to Dayspring Counseling! Dayspring means "dawn" or "the beginning of a new era". Here is where a new era of your life can begin. WHO AM I? I’m a solution-focused and trauma-focused counselor who believes healing begins when we get to the root of what’s holding you back. I’m not afraid to walk with you through the hard stuff, but I also believe there’s space for lightness and even a little humor along the way. I love working with individuals who feel stuck yet motivated for real change, and who are open to approaches beyond traditional talk therapy that help create deep, lasting transformation. WHAT DO I DO? I primarily use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy), evidence-based trauma therapies that help the brain reprocess painful experiences in a faster, more focused way. HOW CAN EMDR / ART HELP YOU ACCELERATE HEALING? ⭐ Supports healing without requiring you to share every detail of your trauma ⭐ Helps the brain reprocess painful memories so they lose their intensity ⭐ Breaks the cycle of negative thoughts, emotions, and patterns that keep you stuck ⭐ Reduces painful symptoms quicker than traditional talk therapy ⭐ Can improve self-esteem and create a greater sense of calm and control ⭐ Often leads to faster, lasting relief and a renewed sense of hope I also offer extended therapy sessions, or therapy intensives, for those who want to accelerate their healing process and feel better faster. This isn't about traditional therapy sessions that only scratch the surface. Therapy intensives are a different approach to therapy where we take what would normally be done over several weeks or months of weekly sessions and condense it into one or more days of deep, focused work. For some people, this is a great way to tackle specific issues or goals more quickly, without the stop-and-start nature of weekly sessions. HOW CAN THERAPY INTENSIVES HELP YOU FEEL BETTER FASTER? ⭐ There is more time to cover substantial ground, allowing you to dive into what truly matters, process past negative experiences, and learn skills to improve your well-being ⭐ You can achieve more progress in less time due to the condensed and focused format of these sessions ⭐ You can save both time and money on therapy in the long run ******* I offer both in-person and telehealth individual counseling sessions. In-person sessions are held at my office located in Twin Falls, Idaho. Telehealth sessions are available statewide throughout Idaho, as well as Florida. Telehealth gives you the flexibility to meet from the comfort of your own home - whether you're juggling a busy schedule or simply prefer the ease of meeting in a familiar space, virtual sessions make therapy more accessible while still providing the same depth, connection, and support. **If you are experiencing a crisis, call/text 988, or visit your local emergency room**
