Introduction

Therapy can offer an opportunity to slow down, take a breath, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have become buried beneath responsibilities, expectations, and the demands of everyday life. I view counseling as a space for reflection, self awareness, and intentional exploration of what matters most to you. Life does not require perfection to be meaningful. My hope is to help you build a deeper understanding of yourself, strengthen your connection to your values, and create a life that feels purposeful, balanced, and true to who you are. My approach is grounded in mindfulness, acceptance, and a holistic understanding of well being. I believe that a fulfilling life is not created by eliminating discomfort or maintaining constant control, but by learning how to respond to life's experiences with greater openness, flexibility, and self compassion. Rather than fighting difficult thoughts and emotions, we can learn to make space for them while continuing to move toward the values and goals that give our lives meaning. I enjoy helping clients identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck, develop practical tools for navigating challenges, and strengthen their connection to the things that matter most. Every person brings a unique set of experiences, strengths, and perspectives into counseling, and I believe the process should reflect that individuality. My role is to create an environment where exploration, reflection, and growth can occur in a way that feels authentic to you. My experiences in the military, music, and sport and performance psychology have shaped the way I understand perseverance, adaptability, discipline, and personal development. These experiences have given me an appreciation for the pressures people face when navigating uncertainty, change, high expectations, and major life transitions. They continue to influence both my personal perspective and my work as a counselor. Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time outdoors, staying active, exploring creative interests, and finding opportunities for continued learning. I am also a proud cat owner to Zora and continue to serve in the Army Reserve.
