Introduction

Hello and welcome! I’m Alyssa, an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. This path through life isn’t always clear or easy and sometimes you find yourself forging an entirely new one. Whether you’re taking unexpected turns or charting a new destination based upon changing interests or circumstances, therapy can be a supportive place along your way. If you are arriving here looking for such a space, I would be honored to offer it. My approach to therapy is person-centered, collaborative, and client led, incorporating Narrative and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. My goal is to work alongside you to cultivate a space that is both safe and purposeful. I aim to strike a balance between exploratory (e.g., metaphors, big-picture questions) and pragmatic (e.g., skills, resources). The world is made immeasurably better by your presence in it and I’m so glad you’re here. If you are interested in working together, please reach out and we can set up an initial consultation call. Talk soon and take care!
