I work with a lot of late-diagnosed ADHD/autistic adults, former “gifted kids,” burned-out caregivers, people recovering from emotionally immature or narcissistic parents, and Deaf individuals or their loved ones. My clients often come in carrying: -neurodivergent traits (ADHD, autism, giftedness) and sensory or emotional overwhelm -perfectionism, overthinking, or decision paralysis -anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or chronic mental “noise” -burnout from being “the reliable one” in every room -identity shifts in adulthood (parenting, career, relationships) -communication challenges in neurodiverse or emotionally complex family systems -patterns in relationships that feel stuck, confusing, or lopsided -complex trauma or attachment wounds that echo into the present experiences of grief, disappointment, or loss -Deaf/Hard of Hearing identity or hearing loss (including unilateral loss), or being a hearing family member navigating communication dynamics -stories they’ve never said out loud, including childhood environments shaped by emotional immaturity or narcissistic caregivers -questions about belonging, self-worth, purpose, or how to live in alignment with who they really are Therapy here is a place to put the weight down, get honest, and make sense of the parts you’ve been managing alone for too long.
