Alyssa Middleton is the owner and primary therapist of Center for Relational and Child Therapy. Connection is at the heart of human growth and well-being. How we relate to ourselves and those we care about shapes our sense of safety, support, and confidence. I provide therapy for children, teens, families, and individuals to strengthen relationships, reduce tension, and foster emotional understanding. With children and teens, I use developmentally responsive, play-based approaches to help them express emotions, develop coping skills, and build resilience. In family therapy, I focus on patterns of interaction, communication, and emotional responsiveness to support stronger connections. Individual therapy provides space to explore emotions, increase self-awareness, and practice strategies for managing stress and navigating life transitions. My approach is humanistic, experiential, and systems-oriented. I integrate evidence based techniques, including EMDR, which can be used to process experiences, support emotional regulation, and build coping skills for clients of all ages. Sessions are collaborative, warm, and attuned, offering guidance and support to help clients grow and strengthen their relationships with others and with themselves. I believe people are inherently resilient and capable of change when they feel understood and supported. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing space where children, teens, families, and individuals can improve communication, express themselves authentically, and develop the skills to thrive.
