Introduction

Hi, I'm Alyssa, and I'm so glad you're here. Asking for help isn't always easy, and finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported from the very beginning. Whether you're navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, relationship challenges, or a difficult season of life, I'm here to help you build the tools and confidence to move forward. My clinical foundation is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that helps clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical coping and problem-solving skills they can continue using long after therapy ends. While CBT serves as the foundation of my work, I believe that effective therapy is never one-size-fits-all. I tailor treatment to each individual's unique needs by integrating techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as Play and Art Therapy. These approaches provide meaningful ways for clients to express themselves, process emotions, and build resilience, especially when words alone aren't enough. I have a particular passion for working with: - ADHD (in kids, teens, and adults), Anxiety, Depression, Executive Dysfunction and organizational challenges, Life transitions and Adjustment Difficulties, Stress management, Self-esteem and Identity Development, Family and relationship challenges Whether you're a parent seeking support for your child, a teenager navigating school, friendships, and life's changes, or an adult feeling overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life, my goal is to meet you where you are with understanding, practical guidance, and encouragement every step of the way.
