Introduction

My name is Alyssa Tillman, and I have been counseling since 2022. I have experience with children, teens, and adults of all ages. However, I have a special interest in adults with anxiety, ADHD, or those feeling stuck in life. I counsel from a biblical perspective, with God's Word as my foundation. I draw from various theories and modalities to create an individualized therapeutic experience, with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy being one of my favorite theories, as many of its characteristics align with how the Bible tells us to handle our problems. I remember finding it incredibly hard and frustrating as I looked for a Christian counselor when I was younger. Later, God called me to be a counselor. In obedience, I received my Master of Science in Counseling from Clark Summit University, with God later calling me to open Christlike Counseling.
