Introduction

Hi, I'm Alyssa, and specialize in helping "deep feelers" who struggle with anxiety and low self-esteem, both in play therapy for kids ages 5-12, and in virtual therapy for adult women who are overwhelmed and tired of always feeling behind. Many of my clients are high-achieving, people-pleasing, and constantly taking care of everyone else while quietly struggling themselves. I specialize in working with women navigating anxiety, ADHD, perfectionism, burnout, perimenopause, life transitions, relationship challenges, chronic illness, and the emotional impact of carrying too much for too long. I also work with children ages 5-12 through play therapy, helping them develop emotional regulation skills, build confidence, navigate anxiety, ADHD, behavioral challenges, and strengthen communication and coping skills. My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in authenticity. I'm a kind, compassionate, late-diagnosed ADHD-er, who firmly believes therapy doesn't have to feel cold, clinical, or intimidating. You don't need to have the right words, have everything figured out, or pretend you're doing fine when you're not. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck in self-doubt, exhausted from trying to meet impossible expectations, struggling to trust yourself, or longing for deeper and more fulfilling relationships, therapy can help. Together, we'll explore the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, build practical tools for managing life's challenges, and create space for you to show up as your full, authentic self. For children, therapy provides a supportive space to express emotions, build coping skills, and develop confidence through the natural language of play.
