With nearly 12 years of experience in the field and a significant amount of lived experience overcoming adversity, I bring both professional expertise and genuine empathy to my work. After growing up in foster care, I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California in 2016 and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in 2019. I began my career as a crisis worker in child welfare before transitioning into hospital and inpatient settings, where I focused on crisis intervention and acute psychiatric care. In 2021, I opened my private practice. I specialize in working with individuals diagnosed with bipolar disorder and other mood or personality disorders, those experiencing chronic suicidal ideation, depression, or self-harm, and individuals with trauma histories. My therapeutic style is compassionate, strengths-based, and grounded in honesty. I primarily use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while also integrating elements of reality-based therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Every session is tailored to the unique needs of the person sitting across from me.
