I believe some of the most meaningful change happens when we have a space where we can show up as we are and feel truly seen and heard. I also know what it is like to sit in the other chair and experience therapy from the other side. That perspective has shaped the kind of therapist I strive to be: someone who helps people feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. I believe each person holds an inner wisdom and capacity for healing, and I want to help clients reconnect with that part of themselves and build a life that feels authentic to their values, needs, and hopes for the future. I especially enjoy working with individuals navigating trauma and PTSD, sexual abuse, substance use and recovery, anxiety, depression, codependency, and LGBTQ+ concerns. I am also passionate about working with couples experiencing conflict, communication difficulties, emotional disconnection, trust concerns, or recurring relationship patterns. In my work with couples, I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method to help partners better understand the patterns beneath their conflicts, strengthen communication, deepen emotional connection, and develop healthier ways of responding to one another.
