Introduction

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas practicing under the board-approved supervision of Dr. David Huffman, PhD, LPC-S, RPT-S. I specialize in trauma-informed therapy for adults and couples impacted by past abuse, overwhelming experiences, or harm within relationships and faith communities. I also work with individuals navigating religious trauma and the identity shifts that can come with faith deconstruction. As a therapist, I hold to the belief that the person is not the problem—the problem is the problem. My approach is caring, honest, collaborative, and gently challenging. Together, we’ll work to understand the “why” beneath your experiences and create meaning and steadiness in a world that can sometimes feel uncertain, especially if you’re questioning beliefs, communities, or identities that once felt foundational. If you’re looking for a therapist who specializes in trauma-informed, depth-oriented therapy and offers a respectful, non-judgmental space, I invite you to reach out to schedule a consultation.
