Amanda is the founder of Good Psychotherapy Services (GPS) and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience helping individuals, families, and clinicians find their way to greater wellbeing. She brings a warm, direct approach to therapy — grounded in research, attentive to the whole person, and shaped by deep expertise in trauma, neurodivergence, and the nervous system. Her work centers on the practical art of getting unstuck — whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, the complicated terrain of parenting, or the slow burn of professional life. She holds advanced training in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant.
