At some point, you may have lost touch with yourself. Maybe you learned to suppress your emotions, ignore your needs, question your instincts, or protect yourself in ways that once helped you survive but no longer serve you. You've read the books. You've listened to the podcasts. Maybe you've even been to therapy before. You know your patterns, yet you still find yourself repeating them. You struggle to trust yourself. You feel disconnected from both yourself and your body. You react in ways that don't make sense, stay small when you want something bigger, or can't seem to access confidence despite everything you've accomplished. You know what you should feel, and yet, you don’t. If this sounds familiar, you’ve come to the right place. My approach to individual therapy is grounded in the belief that the reactions, emotions, and protective patterns that cause problems for you today often developed for good reasons at some point in your life. Together, we'll understand those patterns with curiosity instead of judgment, process the experiences that continue to influence your present, and help you reconnect with yourself in a way that feels grounded, authentic, and lasting. Modalities I use include Internal Family System (ie "parts work"), EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and CBT.
