About Me I have over 20 years of experience in the mental health field and have been a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor for 14 years. I work with adolescents (13+) through adults and specialize in trauma and abuse recovery (including narcissistic abuse), adolescent care, and family therapy. My background includes leaderships roles in therapeutic and residential programs for teens with severe emotional disturbance, which deepened my understanding of complex trauma and the systems that impact healing. These experiences also shaped by deep respect for resilience and growth. Many clients come to me after difficult or discouraging experiences in therapy that left them feeling misunderstood or judged. I take great pride to provide an elevated, compassionate, and clinically grounded experience that restores their trust in the therapeutic process. My practice space is intentionally designed to feel safe, calm, and restorative. Approach & Modalities I combine trauma-focused therapy with evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Experiential (Gestalt) methods, and Systematic Desensitization. I place strong emphasis on accurate diagnoses to ensure treatment plans are individualized, effective and meet real-world needs. I prioritize the ethical standards that guide our profession and clients can expect a high level of clinical accountability. All sessions are animal-assisted.
