Dr. Campos completed her dissertation, Supporting the Recovery of Former High-Intensity Faith Group Members, with a special focus on evidence-based approaches to treating trauma related to group membership. Over the course of her career, she has also developed extensive experience supporting individuals living with chronic pain and chronic illness, as well as helping patients navigate medical systems and advocate for their care. She works with adults ages 19 and up. Dr. Campos is LGBTQIA-affirmative and welcoming of alternative lifestyles and belief systems. Her work is trauma-informed and collaborative, and she provides individual psychotherapy drawing from approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness- and polyvagal-informed practices, existential therapy, nervous system regulation, and psychodynamic psychotherapy. She also offers integration of ketamine infusion experiences, allowing patients to process and make meaning in a grounded, supportive way.
