You may be feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself, or aware of patterns that still feel difficult to shift. You may spend a great deal of time thinking through your experiences, understanding your relationships, or trying to hold everything together, while internally still feeling anxious, tense, stuck, or unsure why things continue to feel so heavy. Sometimes insight alone does not create the shift we hope for. You may understand your patterns intellectually while still noticing stress, emotional overwhelm, disconnection, or difficulty responding differently in the moment. I work with adolescents, college students, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, stress, shame, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the impact of past experiences. My approach integrates psychotherapy with mindfulness and somatic (body-based) awareness in a way that is grounded, reflective, and centered around your individual experiences. Alongside conversation and reflection, somatic work involves paying attention to how emotions, stress, and experiences are held within the body and nervous system. Together, we may explore physical sensations, tension, emotional responses, patterns of activation, and the relationship between emotional and physical experiences. Increasing awareness of these patterns can support a deeper understanding of yourself and create space for responding to yourself in new ways. Therapy can become a space to slow down, step out of constant overthinking or survival mode, and reconnect with yourself with greater awareness and compassion. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling from Gwynedd Mercy University and have advanced training in trauma-informed care. I am also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and am completing additional training in yoga therapy, which supports my integrative and whole-person approach to emotional wellness.
