Introduction

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based trauma therapy that uses bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or alternating sensory input) to help the brain reprocess and integrate distressing memories so they no longer carry the same emotional charge. + Internal Family Systems (IFS) is an internal attachment model that helps you build a relationship with different parts of yourself. It focuses on the connection between a grounded, witnessing Self and protective and wounded parts that developed to help you adapt and stay safe. + Coherence Therapy works with implicit emotional memory and the neuroscience of memory reconsolidation. It helps bring unconscious emotional learnings into awareness so they can be transformed at the root, rather than managed or suppressed. = IFS-informed EMDR (Syzygy Model) combines the trauma-healing power of EMDR with the self-connection focus of IFS, while also drawing on Coherence Therapy and memory reconsolidation. This integrative approach is especially effective for complex or attachment-related trauma. This compassionate, paced work helps you process painful memories while transforming the underlying emotional learnings that keep them active, strengthening awareness, safety, and self-guidance—supporting lasting relief and helping you feel more grounded, integrated, and empowered in daily life. __________________________________________________ Education and Experience: Amanda is a licensed mental health counselor with 10 years in practice.
