I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the primary vehicle for change and growth. I use a client-centered and strength-based approach. I am committed to creating an environment in which you can feel safe, heard, and understood. I tailor my use of interventions and theories to every individual client, as every person comes in with their own unique background, strengths, needs, relationships, and goals. I will meet you where you are. I identify as queer, polyamorous, nonbinary, and disabled. The majority of my counseling practice is working with clients who are LGBTQIA+ and/or practice non-normative relationship styles, such as polyamory. I am particularly passionate about working with clients struggling with their gender identity, sexuality, non-traditional relationships, kink/BDSM, and folks living with chronic illness and/or pain. I believe that a healthy self-image, a strong sense of self-worth, a toolbox of healthy coping mechanisms, and healthy relationships are at the root of living a fulfilling life. My job is to help you improve your quality of life.
