Introduction

My name is Amber Ackermann and I am the CEO of AKA Counseling, LLC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is board-certified to practice Telemental Health Therapy. I received my Masters of Science degree from Mississippi State University in 2016 and became fully licensed to practice in 2019. At AKA Counseling, we believe that when it comes to healing, there is no deadline. Everyone just wants to feel heard and know that they are not alone in their therapeutic healing journey. Emotional growth takes time and patience, which is met with support, compassion, and understanding at AKA Counseling. As a counselor, I work alongside my clients to establish a therapeutic relationship that provides a foundation to identify goals and move toward success as a team.
