Amber graduated with a MA in Clinical Mental Health from Liberty University. She received her BS in Early Childhood Education from the University of Alabama. Amber has worked with the student ministry at her home church for over ten years and counseled students at Samford University during her internship. Counseling has been a part of Amber and her family's lives through the years. Her passion for meeting people where they are and guiding them through life's challenges is what lead here to a career in counseling. Amber provides a safe space for clients to grow by using integrated therapy and implementing evidence-based approaches specific to each client's needs. Amber works with pre-teens, teens, young adults, women and couples and offers pre-marital counseling as a certified SYMBIS(TM) facilitator. She helps clients struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, boundaries, relationship goals, core beliefs, co-dependency and self-esteem. Amber seeks to help each client feel heard and valued while equipping them with tools to reach their goals. She believes in working with the client on a holistic level making sure to incorporate their psychological, social and spiritual needs while providing hope and encouragement.
