Welcome — I'm really glad you're here. Reaching out for support is no small thing, and I want you to know that I don't take lightly the trust you're placing in this process. Our work together will begin simply: with me listening. I want to understand your experiences, what's brought you here, and what feeling better actually looks like for you. My background also includes a Masters of Education in Educational Psychology. Having taught internationally (for a decade) and working with students across the globe with my TEFL certification, and am raising two teenagers, I bring both professional and personal perspective to the challenges families and young people face. I spent years as a clinical social worker with the State of Utah, supporting people across every stage of life — from newborns to older adults. Decades ago, I work as a legal assistant in a law firm that focused on family law, in Downtown Salt Lake City. Whether you're carrying anxiety, depression, relationship strain, work stress, or the weight of family dynamics, this is a space for all of it. I also recognize the very real toll that today's political climate can take, particularly for those who've been involved in activism or community organizing. You don't have to explain why it's hard — I get it. To make counseling as accessible as possible, I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions. My office is Cottonwood Heights, Salt Lake County, Utah, and as an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor, I practice under the supervision of Kaati Tarr. I'm truly looking forward to meeting you. Take good care — and I'll see you soon.
