Amber Jarvis is a compassionate Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) with a passion for helping people find balance and compassion in their own lives. Amber graduated from University of North Carolina in Counseling in 2023. Amber utilizes techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy while using a person-centered approach in session. Amber works with clients aged 16 years and older with a variety of backgrounds and diagnoses. She specializes in anxiety, ADHD, Adult diagnosed Autism, life transitions, identity development, and LGBTQ+ populations. Amber focuses on helping clients challenge limiting thought processes and replace harmful behaviors with helpful coping strategies. Amber utilizes CBT and DBT frameworks to help clients to develop practical skills to improve relationships, manage emotions, manage life tasks, and find peace. Amber works with clients to develop more self-compassion and balance in their lives.
