Introduction

Throughout life we all have struggles and experience situations beyond our control that can deeply affect us. During these times we can feel alone or uncomfortable opening up to others about our how we are truly feeling. Feelings of embarrassment or beliefs that something is wrong with yourself can prevent individuals from seeking help and support from others. I want you to know that you are not alone. Whether you are experiencing depression, anxiety, recovering from trauma, stress, navigating challenging situations or changes in life, or having difficulties at home, work, in relationships, or even finding enjoyment, change is possible in moving towards more fully living your life. There is no "one size fits all" in counseling. I utilize a collaborate, individualized approach while incorporating various evidence-based techniques in working with you towards your goals for change. My specialties include anxiety, OCD, depression/mood disturbances, trauma, stress management, adult ADHD, grief, and life adjustment issues. I have training in and utilize evidence-based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure Response Prevention, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has over ten years of experience in the mental health field working in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Through my experience I have worked with individuals of all ages, families, and couples. Currently I am meeting with local clients (Columbus, GA) in an office setting and clients throughout the state of Georgia through a HIPPA secure video portal. I am available to schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation to assist you in determining if we would be a good fit for working together.
