Hello there. I’m Amber Moon, a psychotherapist, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, and Social Work Supervisor (LICSW-S). Since 2017, I’ve been helping individuals feel seen, find balance, and strengthen their emotional well-being. I strive to create a space where all identities and lived experiences are welcomed, respected, and supported. I work with individuals ages 16 and up, helping them navigate anxiety, depression, challenges with healthy boundaries, relationship concerns, ADHD, bipolar disorder, psychosis, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and suicidal thoughts. I believe in the power of hope, in breaking the stigma around mental health, and in the importance of a supportive network as part of healing. When helpful, I collaborate with the people involved in your care (friends, family, doctors, or others) to support you from all angles. My approach is person-centered, holistic, and compassionate, drawing on evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as practices such as mindfulness and meditation. Outside the office, you’ll usually find me thrifting, listening to podcasts or audiobooks, cooking, enjoying time with my family, or rescuing cats. No matter your circumstances or symptoms, you deserve high-quality, compassionate, person-centered care. I would be honored to support you on your journey.
