Introduction

Amber Poling is a Graduate Counseling Intern and Certified Health Coach who is passionate about helping clients cultivate balance, resilience, and emotional well-being. She creates a warm and supportive environment where individuals feel safe to explore their stories, strengthen self-awareness, and move toward meaningful growth and healing. Amber takes a collaborative, person-centered approach to counseling, integrating evidence-based practices with the holistic lens of health coaching. Amber holds an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and has experience working with children, teens, and adults which informs her developmentally sensitive and strengths-based approach. With a professional background in leadership and organizational development, Amber also enjoys working with individuals in leadership roles who are navigating stress, imposter syndrome, relational dynamics, and personal growth. She believes healthy leadership begins with self-awareness and emotional regulation and is passionate about helping professionals lead with purpose and balance. Amber is trained in Christian counseling integration and is able to incorporate faith-based perspectives into counseling for clients who desire this approach, while always honoring each client’s values, beliefs, and preferences. Amber brings authenticity, empathy, and deep respect for every individual’s journey to her counseling work, meeting clients where they are and walking alongside them as they pursue healing and personal growth.
