Grief is one of the most profound human experiences, yet it is often misunderstood, rushed, or minimized. Grief is not limited to death. Many individuals seek therapy for different forms of loss, including the death of a loved one, anticipatory grief related to illness, miscarriage or pregnancy loss, divorce or relationship changes, loss of identity, and loss of trust. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and grief processing therapy to help clients understand their emotions, process loss, and develop healthy coping strategies. I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where healing can unfold at your own pace. In our work together, we will focus on helping you process your emotions, make meaning of your experiences, and develop healthy ways to cope with the waves of grief that can arise unexpectedly. It’s not about “just move on,” but about learning how to carry your loss while continuing to live a meaningful life.
