Welcome! I’m Amber, and I’m here to join you on your therapy journey—whether this is your very first step or simply a stop along the way. My work centers on building self-awareness, self-acceptance, and meaningful progress toward your mental and emotional health goals. I have experience supporting clients with: Depression and anxiety Grief and loss Relationship challenges of all kinds Trauma and complex stressors I know the idea of therapy or counseling can feel overwhelming. I promise it can move at your pace—fast, slow, focused, or exploratory. You’re in the driver’s seat. What you put in is what you’ll get out. And remember: we don’t have to be “sick” to get better—therapy can be valuable in any season of life. One of my guiding reminders for clients is this: Therapy isn’t always about feeling better. It’s about getting better at feeling—through awareness, acceptance, and regulation. A Little About Me I’ve been practicing in the Fresno community since 2010, with over a decade of experience in public service supporting trauma recovery, substance use, and complex disorders. I began my private practice journey in 2016 and continue to practice part-time. My specialty training is in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and since 2014 I’ve developed a deep passion for working within this model. In addition to psychotherapy, I am also a Sport and Mental Performance Consultant and Coach. I work closely with Fresno State athletes, and I am currently completing graduate-level coursework at Fresno State University in pursuit of the Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) certification. I will soon sit for the CMPC exam to formally expand this work. Let’s Connect There are many therapists out there.
